HelloI wish your new browser to get into one of the best on the market !As a rule I do not trust new programes, unless I know the publisher.But if this forum is actice enough and I see nothing suspicious I will try Smart Bro. Sorry to say Smart Bro is a very bad name for your browser.Even Smart Browse would be better.One feature I am missing on most of the browsers is a private mode of operation. All browsers allow me to clear history, cache, forms and all stuff that I don't even know where to look for, but what people need is a little different:I need the history, cache and forms to work normaly until I turn on some switch to set private mode. Starting then no sites I visit will leave a single trace in my computer. But the already present history, cache and forms information is still kept. Eventualy when I switch off private mode or I close all my browser windows or I shut down the computer the browser can start recording and tracing again.What do you say about this ?Thank youTimothy MaddenRomania
.Concerning the name, this is a problem that is caused by recently launching a new Smart Bro wifi service which caused the confusion to our users and to their customers at the same time. I'm not sure if we're going to change the name for something unique in the future.For the private mode, I do really like the idea, however, I think we have a feature that may come handy to you. The feature is called automatic history cleaner. (view->options->history). By enabling this feature, Smart Bro will clean your history upon closing Smart Bro which will automatically take care of your traces without your intervention.I'm not sure if this is exactly what you need. If not, please provide more details.
