Full Version: Win Vista with Firefox...slow?

1. Open firefox


2. Go to the address bar and enter: about:config hit enter.


3. Go to the filter box Filter Box


4. In filter box go to: network.dns.disableIPv6 double click to change it to be: true


5. In filter box go to: network.http.pipelining double click to change it to be: true


6. In filter box go to: network.http.pipelining.maxrequests double click it to change to # 8 click OK when done.


7. In filter box go to: network.http.proxy.pipelining double click to change it to be: true


8. Restart firefox!
Firefox users are better of with the Fasterfox extension.

I am a Windows Vista 32bit Business Edition users. I am browsing the net using Mozilla FireFox but since the other day I started using Google's Chrome.

Any combination works great.
