I just started using your browser today and i like it. Thanks. There's one very annoying feature though... i might have missed the way to switch it off but i tried to find it and i couldn't. It concerns the constantly harassment of the browser in my taskbar. I minimize to tray icon but within a minute it's back on the taskbar, flashing blue at me. How can i stop this? I know when i want to go to my browser and when i don't. It doesn't need to remind me it's there...

Sorry, I apologize, I obviously goofed up there. I think my brain went for a temporary holiday. 
So I have redone this post.
This is what you are after, I am reasonably sure:
View>Options>General>uncheck 'minimize to taskbar'

Sorry, I goofed up I have posted the corrected info above, I am reasonably sure.
If you'd like to reread my post and see if that does what you are interested in.
I can't see this behavior on my system but perhaps yours is somewhat different due to OS or conficuration?
If the suggestion above doesn't resolve it, you may also try unchecking 'check for new program updates online', in case your system is querying the website on a regular basis and this is causing the taskbar icon?
I would try the "unchecks" one at a time to see if that solves the issue.

Smart Bro doesn't popup from system tray unless it's being requested to load a website. Technically speaking, the Smart Bro main program is hidden until a request to load a website is issued. There's no way that Smart Bro can unhide itself unless a website is being requested to load.
Do you have a program that may possibly request a webpage to load on regular basis and for some reason this doesn't happen? I suggest you remove the "Check if Smart Bro is my default web browser" (from options) and make sure that another browser is your default (Internet Explorer for example). After that minimize Smart Bro to system tray and see if this solves your problem. I think a program is trying to load a website on a reqular basis and thats what is causing this behavior. I hope this helps.
