I've found that SB stores the IE Favorites info in the SMARTBRO.ini file.

I can remove this file but SB rebuilds it right away again.

I tried resetting it to 0 bytes in size and then making it read only, but SB didn't like that option.

So, I was wondering is there something else I can edit to prevent SB from referencing the favorites location? I can't find any other config file for it in the directory and there is nothing under Application Data.

This would at least hold me over until a new release allows us to exclude IE Favorites importation. Thank you.
No, Scooterpie. This file is being used by Smart Bro for buffering purposes. You can't use it to edit your favorites. I'm sorry, I don't think you can do it at your side. We will have to make some updates to enable this feature.
Well, it was worth a shot. Smile I'll patiently hang in until the next update.

Thanks for taking the time to respond to all of my posts in the various threads as well. I don't like to clutter up the forums with a thank you note everywhere, but I do appreciate your feedback.
you're most welcome! and I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
